Mrs. Keaton Mims was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She attended Lee University, where she received her Bachelors in Science and played collegiate basketball. After graduation, she worked as a CNA in the OBGYN and then the Trauma Unit at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. In August, 2012, she received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. During her clinical rotations for this program, she spent three months at Coastal Pediatric Associates shadowing Dr. Elizabeth Kirlis. After completion of the program, she was hired by CPA and began practicing in October 2012. Mrs. Mims is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Mrs. Mims and her husband, Eric, were married in August, 2011 in Nashville. They moved to Charleston in January, 2012 for the completion of her clinical rotations, and then decided to stay. They live on Isle of Palms and enjoy surf ski kayaking, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach.
