Robert Clifford

Dr. Robert Clifford grew up in Charleston, SC. After graduating from Furman University, Robert completed medical school and pediatric residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

Dr. Clifford joined the practice in 1999 and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at MUSC. He served as the Chairman of Pediatrics at both Roper and St. Francis Hospitals from 2009 to 2013. Dr. Clifford is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Clifford is involved in his church and in the community. He serves as an elder and as worship leader at Calvary Lutheran Church and is actively involved in short-term medical mission work. Over the past several years, he has led medical teams into Thailand, China, Burma, Jordan and Iraq with Remember - a Charleston-based organization whose ministry is to the persecuted church. Dr. Clifford's humanitarian work has been recognized on a global scale by Save the Children who awarded him a REAL Award in 2013.

Robert enjoys making music, jogging and spending time with his wife, Tiffannie, and their two daughters: Lauren and Anna.
